Rock can be seperated into many genres, alternative, indie, punk, and a million more. I would not consider this rock, but maybe just metal, but there was no option for that. So I went with heavy. Maybe you need to check up with your metal roots such as Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. I am not going to play drop c power chord throughout the song. :P
